Pedestrian in Ohio's Sereetz area apprehended by oncoming trailers
On Monday, September 1, 2025, a traffic accident occurred in Sereetz, Lübeck, on the Danishburger Landstraße, between Zollweg and Danziger Straße. The incident involved a Fiat 500 with a trailer, which resulted in minor injuries for a 78-year-old woman.
The driver of the Fiat was a 60-year-old woman from Lübeck. According to the police in Ratekau, the trailer detached from the moving car, causing the accident. The trailer hit the 78-year-old woman who was walking on the sidewalk.
The accident site became the location of rescue operations, and traffic was rerouted during the closure of the Danishburger Landstraße from 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The woman was taken to the hospital for examination, and the accident investigation concluded at the same time.
The cause of the trailer detaching from the car is currently under investigation by the police in Ratekau. The trailer sustained damage to its support wheel during the incident.
