Pending Decision on the Implementation of the Proposed Measures by the Commission
On Tuesday, September 2nd, two separate accidents took place in the town of Bad Hersfeld, East Hesse. The first accident involved a bus and a Mercedes vehicle, while the second involved a 25-year-old biker from Rotenburg and a car in Bahnhofstraße.
The bus accident occurred around 21:30 on the Frankfurt road out of town. The bus, driven by a 57-year-old resident of Rotenburg, was changing lanes when it collided with the Mercedes. The car involved in the collision was driven by a 19-year-old resident of Bad Hersfeld. The bus driver and the car driver were the only parties involved in the accident, and the estimated damage from the incident is approximately 4,000 euros.
In a separate incident, a 25-year-old biker from Rotenburg was lightly injured in a collision with a car in Bahnhofstraße. The car driver in this accident was a 60-year-old resident of Bad Hersfeld. The damage to the biker's bike is estimated to be around 500 euros.
It is important to note that these accidents did not involve the bus and car from an earlier accident. Furthermore, the accidents did not occur on the road leading out of Bad Hersfeld.
The authority responsible for the police in East Hesse (Ost-Hessen) is the Polizeipräsidium Osthessen, headquartered in Fulda. This police presidium oversees police operations and stations in that region.
The 25-year-old biker was treated at a nearby hospital following the accident in Bahnhofstraße. The 27-year-old Audi driver from Bad Hersfeld also left the road and collided with a guardrail on the B 62, resulting in approximately 6,000 euros in damage. (Police Station Bad Hersfeld)
