In the world of Formula 1, the Dutch Grand Prix is gearing up for an exciting weekend at the Circuit Zandvoort. The event, scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 PM and to be broadcast on Sky, promises a thrilling race with a strong McLaren presence.

Oscar Piastri, the current leader in the Formula 1 standings, has secured pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix. His teammate, Lando Norris, will line up alongside him in second place, following an impressive qualifying session where Piastri's lead over Norris was a mere 0.012 seconds.

Piastri's pole position comes as no surprise, given his dominance in the practice sessions on the North Sea coast. Norris, who won the race from pole position in Zandvoort in 2024, will be eager to replicate his success this year.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen, the five-time Formula 1 World Champion, seems to have virtually given up on his fifth consecutive title. With a 97-point deficit behind Piastri, Verstappen settled for third place in the qualifying session.
