Pinterest has unveiled its new advertising suite, Performance+, designed to simplify campaign management and boost advertising performance on the platform. The suite offers lower-funnel ad products for global advertisers, including Consideration, Conversions, and Catalog Sales objectives.

One of the key features of the Performance+ suite is the AI-powered and automated tools that optimize targeting, manage budgets, and adjust bids automatically. This results in a more efficient and effective advertising experience for brands.

Testing results have shown significant improvements across various performance metrics. For instance, promotions on Pinterest have been shown to increase conversions by 12.7% compared to ads without promotional elements. Furthermore, testing results showed a 10% improvement in cost per click (CPC) for Consideration campaigns with Pinterest Performance+. Additionally, at least a 10% improvement in cost per acquisition (CPA) for Conversion and Catalog Sales campaigns with Pinterest Performance+ has been observed.

The new suite also introduces Promotions, which are now available for advertisers in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, and Japan. Through Deals ads modules, promotions will be more visible to consumers, helping brands stand out during key sale moments.

Moreover, Pinterest Performance+ ROAS bidding is now available in all markets, helping advertisers maximize their return on ad spend. Testing showed a 15% increase in ROAS for most advertisers using this new feature.

The Performance+ suite also includes a creative tool that automatically transforms simple product images into more visually appealing lifestyle imagery using generative AI. This feature is expected to help advertisers create engaging and appealing content with minimal effort.

Pinterest Performance+ campaigns were unveiled at Pinterest Presents, the company's global advertiser summit. Prose, a custom haircare and skincare brand, used Promotions and achieved a 48% higher clickthrough rate while generating cheaper incremental checkouts compared to standard conversion campaigns.

Advertisers can maintain control by bundling or customizing features as needed with the Pinterest Performance+ suite. They can also reduce campaign creation time by 50% with the new suite.

The new features are part of the AI-driven and automation updates introduced by Pinterest. The company aims to provide a seamless and effective advertising experience for brands on its platform.
