On Monday afternoon, two traffic accidents occurred in the town of Seesen and nearby Bockenem, causing significant damage and raising concerns among local residents.

In Seesen, a 50-year-old resident was involved in a collision on Hochstraße, at the Gaensepforte intersection. According to the police, the man failed to yield to a Pkw coming from the right, resulting in an accident that left two passengers, aged 17 and 18, lightly injured. The 19-year-old driver of the other vehicle was unharmed. The incident caused approximately 15,000 Euro in damages.

The Seesener driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol, with a test result of over 1.8 promille. As a result, his driver's license was confiscated, and several criminal proceedings have been initiated against him. The total damage is estimated at approximately 25,000 Euro.

Meanwhile, in Bockenem, a hit-and-run accident occurred on Bockenemer Straße, involving a 44-year-old from Rhüden on a bike and an unidentified cyclist. The hit-and-run cyclist is described as a male, approximately 16 years old, with black hair, wearing a red pullover, and riding a yellow bike.

Later in the day, the Bockenem driver caused another accident at the on-ramp area, where he ignored a red light and collided with a Seesen resident's vehicle. The Seesener was slightly injured, and their VW sustained significant property damage, while the Bockenem driver's car was also heavily damaged. The Bockenem driver was the one responsible for the collision.

In a separate incident, a 59-year-old from Bockenem is suspected of committing multiple fuel thefts in Goslar. The suspect refueled his VW at the Harz quick road tank station without paying bills in at least three incidents. Two fuel thefts involved the suspect removing his license plates before leaving, while one involved the use of stolen plates from Rhüden.

A 23-year-old from Münchehof is also suspected of committing multiple fuel thefts in Goslar, using both his own and stolen license plates. However, there is no publicly available information linking any person from Münchehof to multiple fuel thefts.
