Police apprehend 23-year-old suspect following stabbing incident in Spandau
In a shocking turn of events in the Haselhorst district of Berlin-Spandau, a 23-year-old woman allegedly stabbed a 46-year-old man in the abdomen with a knife on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, the incident occurred in the hallway of a multi-family house. The 23-year-old woman, who surrendered to the authorities later that night, stated that she was in the man's apartment with a 16-year-old friend.
Reports suggest that the women allegedly consumed drugs in the man's apartment. A physical altercation ensued, during which the woman stabbed the man with the knife, following a confrontation where the man reportedly threatened them with a knife and refused to let them leave the apartment.
The 46-year-old man was immediately taken to a hospital and underwent emergency surgery. He was later admitted for further treatment.
The 16-year-old friend of the 23-year-old woman is described as a female friend who was with the woman in the man's apartment. After the stabbing, both young women fled the apartment.
