Police-BI Investigation: Vehicle Transfer: Car Rolls onto Truck
On August 28, 2025, a collision took place on the A2 highway near Bielefeld, Germany. The incident involved a BMW X5 and a truck, with the BMW driver suffering serious injuries.
According to the latest reports from Polizei Bielefeld, the collision occurred around 05:30 AM on the A2, heading towards Hannover. The truck was traveling on the right lane, and the collision occurred between the exits Oelde and Herzebrock-Clarholz.
The driver of the BMW, a 61-year-old man from Herne, fell asleep at the wheel, causing the collision. Fortunately, the trailer of the truck only had minor damage, and the BMW was towed away without further damage.
The BMW driver was treated at the scene and then taken to a hospital for further treatment. The total damage from the collision is approximately 10,000 euros.
