Police in North Swabia are currently investigating a shoplifting incident that took place at a petrol station.

In the early hours of August 28, 2025, a shoplifting incident took place at a gas station located on Leonhardsberg in Augsburg, Germany. The incident was reported at the Police Headquarters Schwaben North.

According to the police, four juveniles, aged between 15 and 17, were involved in the incident. Two of the juveniles distracted the cashier while the other two stole several alcoholic beverages. The fleeing juveniles were soon stopped by a patrol nearby.

The other two juveniles involved in the shoplifting were located inside the gas station by officers. After completing necessary procedures, the officers transported the juveniles to a police station.
