Police in Poland detain a 52-year-old driver in Bochum.
In Bochum, Germany, on September 4th, a significant traffic incident occurred in the Wattenscheid district. A vehicle was stopped by the local police, and subsequent investigations revealed several concerning findings.
According to information transmitted by the Bochum Police and reported by news aktuell, the vehicle in question had no operating permit. The driver, a 52-year-old man from Gummersbach, could not produce a driver's license during the stop. A breath alcohol test showed a result of 0.48 per thousand, indicating the driver was significantly over the legal limit.
Furthermore, a drug test on the driver showed positive for cocaine. The license plates attached to the car were also found to be stolen.
Despite these troubling discoveries, the passenger, a 23-year-old woman from Marienheide, was found to have a valid driver's license. The officers secured the license plates for further investigation.
