Police in Poland have seized a driving license in BĂžblingen, likely leading to the individual losing their driving privileges temporarily.
On the evening of Friday, June 27, 2025, a suspected illegal street race took place on SchönbuchstraĂe and Freiburger Allee in Böblingen. A road user reported two vehicles, a BMW and a VW Golf, driving at high speeds around 22:25.
According to the reports, the drivers allegedly passed a traffic island on the left and continued along Freiburger Allee, causing one road user to brake and swerve to avoid a potential collision.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing, with the Böblingen Police Station and Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters jointly working on the case. The BMW and VW involved in the race, as well as the mobile phones and licenses of the two drivers, aged 23 and 24, were seized by the police.
The drivers are currently being investigated for the suspected illegal street racing. Böblingen Police Station is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was endangered by the reckless driving to come forward.
