Police in Ulm apprehended four speeding drivers cruising at 90 km/h in an underground passageway on a Thursday evening.
In a recent crackdown on speeding, the Ulm Police Headquarters has announced penalties for four drivers, including a truck driver, who were caught speeding in the Westring tunnel towards Neu-Ulm between 11:30 PM and 1:30 AM.

The truck driver, aged 36, was found to be 31 km/h over the speed limit. As a result, the driver faces a hefty fine of €340, two points in Flensburg, and a one-month driving ban. The Ulm Police Headquarters warns that accidents involving excessive speed often have serious consequences.
The fastest driver, a car driver, was 40 km/h over the limit. The exact penalties for this driver were not disclosed.
To ensure safety on the roads, the Ulm police advise drivers to slow down, not to underestimate their own abilities, and to account for others' mistakes.
