The County Police Department of Unna is expanding its team with the addition of 30 new colleagues in 2025. This news was originally reported by news aktuell.
County Commissioner Mario Löhr, the director of the Kreispolizeibehörde Unna, is involved in the welcoming process. Some of the new colleagues have completed their education at the Hochschule fĂŒr Polizei und öffentliche Verwaltung (HSPV NRW), while others are joining after completing their Bachelor's degree or transferring from other departments.
The departments from which the new colleagues are transferring include Hochsauerlandkreis, Essen, Dortmund, Soest, Olpe, Recklinghausen, and Mettmann. Notably, these new additions will join the team after the statewide reassignment date for police officers in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is September 1, 2025.
