Police are examining potential political motivations behind a car scratching incident involving two vehicles.

Police probe into car scrastically damaged incidents, suspecting underlying political motivations.

On Saturday evening to Sunday morning, two cars were damaged in the Breienweg area of Erwitte-Schmerlecke. One of the vehicles had scratches in the rear area, on the left C-pillar, and on the rear window, while the other car had a scratch on its rear window.

The owners of the damaged vehicles are members of a political party currently in election campaign. However, the political party member whose vehicles were damaged has not been named; it is only confirmed that the vehicle owner is a member of a party involved in the campaign, and the police are investigating a possible political motive.

The Police Soest is handling the incident, and the press contact for media representatives is the Police Soest Press Office, with Daniel Gross serving as the contact person. You can reach Daniel Gross at 02921 - 9100 5311, or send emails to [email protected]. For updates and further information on the property damage incident, the Police Soest is the authority to contact.

The official website for the Police Soest is www.polizei.nrw.de/soest. Witnesses with information about the property damage are still asked to contact the Lippstadt police station or visit the nearest police station.

Initially, the state protection department in Dortmund was investigating the possible political motive for the property damage. However, they have since ceased their investigations. The Police Soest continues to investigate the incident, and anyone with relevant information is encouraged to come forward.
