Headline: Rare Lotec C1000, the Unhomologated Supercar, Hits the Market

The Lotec C1000, a testament to engineering extremes, has re-emerged in the market after years of seclusion. This unique piece, valued at an estimated 7.72 million US dollars (approximately 7 million euros), was created as a private commission and never intended for series production.

The car, a brainchild of Kurt Lotterschmid, the founder of Lotec, boasts a carbon monocoque, 1000 horsepower, and a target speed of 431 km/h. It's a special car that has remained one of a kind, built only once.

The Lotec C1000 has an impressive track record, reaching at least 380 km/h in test runs, according to Lotterschmid himself. The car has been under wraps for many years and was for sale in the USA in 2023, with a mileage of 4146 km (2576 miles)β€”a figure more than twice the original purchase price.

The sale of this rare supersport car was handled by the specialist Curated. Despite not being moved for four years, the Lotec C1000 remains a fascinating piece of automotive history, a testament to the vision and ambition of its creator.

Whether it finds a new home remains to be seen, but one thing is certainβ€”the Lotec C1000 continues to capture the imagination of car enthusiasts worldwide.
