Proposal for guarding workforce from ionizing radiation risks still pending at the Commission level.

Speed Control and Noise Monitoring Planned Across Southeast Hesse

In an effort to ensure road safety and adherence to speed limits, the Traffic Division of the Police Headquarters Southeast Hesse has announced Speed Control Points for the 8th calendar week of 2025.

Starting on 17th February, speed control will be implemented at the B 43 a towards Dieburg before the Hanau-Hafen junction (Speed danger zone), B 459 towards Offenbach before the Geisfeld roundabout (Accident hotspot), and Biebergemgemünd-Wirthheim on Frankfurter Straße (Speed danger zone).

The following day, on 18th February, speed control will take place at the same location on B 43 a towards Dieburg before the Hanau-Hafen junction (Speed danger zone), as well as on A 45 towards Aschaffenburg at the Autobahn junction Seligenstadt (Speed danger zone) and L 3262 towards Buchschlag between the railway line and the B 44 junction (Accident hotspot).

On 19th February, speed control will be carried out at the B 43 a towards Dieburg before the Hanau-Hafen junction (Speed danger zone) and K 174 towards Rodgau between Waldacker and Rodgau-Ring-Straße (Wild).

Later in the week, on 20th February, speed control and noise protection monitoring will take place at the A 66, Fulda towards Hanau, Bad Soden-Salmünster junction. The following day, noise protection monitoring will be conducted at the same location. On 22nd and 23rd February, additional noise protection monitoring will take place at the A 66, Fulda towards Hanau, Bad Soden-Salmünster junction.
