On the morning of Wednesday, June 25, a perfumery on Mittelstraße in Gevelsberg was the target of a break-in. The incident occurred at around 3:20 AM, and the thieves made off with various cosmetics from the store.

Three individuals, all dressed in dark clothing, were spotted escaping from the store during the break-in. However, a witness managed to prevent a potential second break-in at the same location by shouting loudly, but there is currently no public information about the identity of the suspected perpetrators.

The investigation into the perfumery break-in is being handled by the criminal police. Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to contact the police at 02333-9166-2100 or 0174/6310227. The Ennepe-Ruhr District Police Headquarters can also be contacted for further inquiries. Their office is located at Strückerberger Straße 32, 58256 Ennepetal, and their email address is [email protected].

Investigators are currently determining the exact items stolen from the store and whether there are connections to previous break-ins. The ongoing investigation aims to shed light on these matters and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The public is encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police. By working together, we can help maintain the safety and security of our community.
