Provincial Election Results: 22,000 contenders, revelation anticipated following examination of 30% ballot boxes

The province of Buenos Aires is gearing up for its part of the 2025 elections, with citizens eligible to vote on September 7, 2025. The elections will see 14,376,592 people exercising their democratic right at 41,189 tables spread across the province.

The Electoral Board, chaired by Hilda Kogan, is in charge of organizing and overseeing the elections. The Board has been responsible for the distribution of ballot boxes, the selection of voting locations, and the approval of the 22,019 candidates running for various positions, including senators, provincial deputies, councilors, school board members, and their alternates.

A total of 34,778 security personnel will ensure a smooth and secure voting process. The voting data for the elections will be released when a representative percentage of at least 30% of the tables is loaded in each electoral section.

The results of the elections will be known from 8 PM onwards, or when a representative percentage of at least 30% of the tables is loaded in each of the electoral sections. The count of this Sunday's results is provisional and is the responsibility of the Buenos Aires government, while the final count will be done by the Electoral Board a week later, on September 13.

The elections are being overseen by the Buenos Aires government, led by Martin Angulo or Axel Kicillof, depending on the current governor at the time. The Electoral Board includes representatives from the provincial electoral authority, political party delegates, and judicial authorities appointed for the election process.

The elections will be for 23 senators, 46 provincial deputies, 1,097 councilors, and 401 school board members. The count of these positions will provide a significant direction for the political landscape of the province in the coming years.

Stay tuned for updates as the voting process unfolds and the results are announced. Your vote matters, so make sure to exercise your right to vote on September 7.
