In the heart of Yakutsk, School No. 31 has been at the forefront of eco-education, integrating environmental awareness into their teaching practices. This week, the school hosted an "Eco-education" week, culminating in a visit to the Yakutsk Ecological Company's production facility.

The winning class of the "Useful Caps" competition, class 2 "D", was treated to an enlightening tour. Led by their teacher, Margarita Mikhailovna, the children were shown how new products are made from secondary raw materials. The tour was a hit with the students, who were delighted to learn about the recycling process. In fact, their enthusiasm was so infectious that they helped reduce the volume of cardboard by more than 30 times by loading it into the "PRESS" machine.

The visit was a testament to the school's commitment to eco-education. The children were motivated to sort waste more carefully and treat the environment with greater care. The goal of eco-education is to stimulate children's desire to help nature and develop ecological consciousness.

The "Eco-education" week at School No. 31 included lectures and practical events. The school has been a hub of ecological activities, hosting numerous actions, competitions, and events over the years. This year, the pilot project "Eco-education" was implemented with the support of Sinet Spark (Spark) regional development charity fund and the Yakutsk Ecological Company.

LLC "YakutskEcoset" expressed their gratitude to School No. 31 and biology teacher Zhargalm Badmaevna for their cooperation, concern, and initiative in eco-education. The Yakutsk Ecological Company continues to support the "Eco-education" project, underscoring the importance of educating the younger generation about environmental issues.

Yakutia.INFO, too, is emphasizing the significance of ecological education for the future. The regional operator has been instrumental in implementing eco-education programs in schools and conducting joint projects and events in the city.

As the world grapples with environmental challenges, it's heartening to see initiatives like the "Eco-education" project taking root in Yakutsk. The future of our planet lies in the hands of our children, and it's crucial that they grow up with a deep understanding and appreciation for the environment.
