Query revealing potential suspicion of intentional fire-setting.

On Monday morning, a forest fire was reported in an extension of HaΓΌser Weg (Kleinauheimer Wald) near the federal highway B45 in Hanau, Germany. Approximately 70 dried wooden logs stacked for transport were burning, covering an area of about 10 by 20 meters.

The police were quick to respond, closing access roads to the forest during the operation. The firefighting efforts were made difficult due to local conditions in accessing the forest area.

The South East Hesse Police Headquarters is investigating the cause of the fire. While the exact damage is still being estimated, it is expected to run into several thousand euros. The police cannot rule out that the fire may have been set deliberately.
