Racing League of India 2025: All Team Rosters Revealed Following Initial Team Selection Event
The Indian Racing League (IRL) has unveiled the details for its 2025 season, promising an action-packed calendar filled with new circuits, international talent, and a city-centric format designed to bring motorsport closer to the public.
The races for the upcoming season will take place at two iconic Indian venues: Coimbatore's Kari Motor Speedway and Chennai's Madras International Circuit. The season will kick off at Kari Motor Speedway on August 16-17, marking the start of the series alongside the Indian F4 races. Two other venues are yet to be confirmed.
The women's lineup for the 2025 season brings additional international expertise and representation to the championship. Notable additions include Fabienne Wohlwend, known for her time in the W Series and Ferrari Challenge, Laura Camps Torras, an alumna of the Ferrari Driver Academy, Caitlin Wood, with experience in the GT World Challenge and W Series, and Gabriela Jilkova, a sim and GT racing specialist.
The city-centric format of the league is intended to boost regional fan engagement and make motorsport more accessible. The IRL team owners, including Arjun Kapoor (Speed Demons Delhi), Naga Chaitanya (Hyderabad Blackbirds), John Abraham (Goa Aces), Sourav Ganguly (Kolkata Royal Tigers), Sudeep Kichcha (Kichcha's Kings Bengaluru), and Keerthivasan (Chennai Turbo Riders), were present at the draft to announce the details of the upcoming season.
