Junghans Introduces Three Limited Editions of the Mega Futura Watch
German watch brand Junghans has unveiled three limited editions of their latest timepiece, the Mega Futura. The Mega Futura, a reinterpretation of the iconic Mega 1, was recently released and is now available for purchase on junghans.de.
The Mega Futura retains the minimalist design that Junghans is known for, while expanding on the original asymmetrical case shape. Each limited edition is limited to 80 pieces, ensuring exclusivity for its owners.
The Mega Futura is powered by a multi-frequency radio-controlled movement, receiving signals from transmitters in Germany, the United States, Japan, and China. This guarantees precise timekeeping, a hallmark of Junghans watches.
The time can be displayed in a 12- or 24-hour format on the Mega Futura. The display shows only digital numerals, with the number zero excluded. The watches in the limited editions come in various colour schemes. The light grey limited edition features a light grey display, while the black limited edition with green numerals boasts a black display. The light grey and black limited editions do not include green numerals in their displays.
Two of the three limited editions have matte-brushed stainless steel cases, with one featuring a black PVD-coated stainless steel case. The original signature of the Mega Futura watch model was developed by the German designer Denis Guidone, while the design was created by German-American product designer Hartmut Esslinger.
In addition to displaying the time, the Mega Futura can also display the day, date, and week. The Mega Futura's price remains at €490.00, making it an accessible luxury for watch enthusiasts.
