Toyota Announces Significant Price Cuts Across Its Model Range

Toyota, one of the leading automobile manufacturers, has announced price cuts on several of its models, following the recent GST reductions. The price adjustments range from ₹85,300 for the Toyota Glanza to ₹2.78 lakh for the Toyota Vellfire.

The Toyota Fortuner and Fortuner Legender have seen a price reduction of ₹3.34 lakh and ₹3.49 lakh respectively, making them more affordable for customers. The Toyota Hilux, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Camry sedan also benefit from these price cuts, with savings of ₹2.53 lakh, up to ₹65,400, and ₹1.02 lakh respectively.

The Innova Crysta and Hycross have become more affordable by ₹1.81 lakh and ₹1.16 lakh respectively. The Toyota Rumion has received a price cut of up to ₹48,700. These reductions aim to enhance affordability for Toyota customers, as expressed by the company.

Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Toyota, expressed gratitude for the GST reduction, stating that it strengthens overall confidence in the auto sector. Toyota joins other brands like Mahindra, Renault, Mercedes-Benz, Tata Motors, and Citroen in passing on GST benefits to customers.

Toyota remains committed to making world-class mobility solutions more accessible. The company expects the GST reduction to provide strong momentum and further accelerate demand. Bookings for Toyota cars are open at dealerships, and more manufacturers are expected to roll out revised prices in the coming days.

The GST reduction has been a welcome move for the auto sector, with Hyundai implementing the largest price reductions under the GST norms, averaging around 20,000 euros. Toyota expects this enhancement in affordability to boost sales and contribute to the growth of the industry.
