Regions in Omsk ranked among those boasting the most affordable fuel prices
In July 2025, the research agency "PromRating" assessed the situation with gasoline prices across Russia's regions.
The highest gasoline price in Russia was recorded in Chukotka, with a price of 75.59 rubles per liter. Yakutia followed closely behind in second place, with a price of 74.10 rubles per liter. Kamchatka held the third spot, with a price of 73.28 rubles per liter.
Interestingly, the Omsk region maintained its fifth place in terms of cheap gasoline prices compared to other regions in Russia. The Omsk region's gasoline prices have not changed since June 2025, as it maintained the same position. The Kurgan region held the lowest gasoline prices in Russia, with a price of 56.53 rubles per liter. The Altai Territory, Tatarstan, and the Tomsk region followed the Kurgan region in terms of cheap gasoline prices.
The analysis also revealed that an increase in gasoline prices by 1.4% was recorded in 46 Russian subjects. However, no regions in Russia recorded a decrease in fuel prices in July 2025.
The highest price increase was observed in Chukotka (+8.6%) and Tuva (+4.6%).
It's worth noting that besides Kurgan, regions in Siberia, the Far East, and Crimea faced severe fuel shortages in July 2025. Due to overall fuel scarcity and rising prices in Russia during that period, specific regions with the lowest gasoline prices other than Kurgan are not clearly detailed in available reports.
This analysis provides valuable insights into the current state of gasoline prices in Russia, offering a comprehensive view of the market during July 2025.
