Regulation Implementation Acts to Be Adopted, Outlining the Practical Application of the Regulation.
In September and October of 2025, the Landscape Conservation Association Regensburg and Oberpfraundorf are organising apple collections in Oberpfraundorf (Market Beratzhausen). This initiative, part of the Juradistl program, aims to support the preservation of local orchards and orchards, while promoting the production of genuine regional quality products.
The apple collections will take place on the Saturdays of September 13th and October 11th, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm. The drop-off point for the apples is at the warehouse of the county building yard in Oberpfraundorf.
To participate, residents are invited to bring their fresh, untreated apples from orchards and gardens to the collection point. Apples with signs of rot will not be accepted. For those delivering more than ten cent's worth of apples per delivery, registration in advance with the Landscape Conservation Association Regensburg at [email protected] is required.
Upon delivery, a weigh-in slip will be issued. Delivered apples can be exchanged for vouchers for the Nagler press in Regensburg. Those who have a Nagler customer number should bring it with them and mention it at the collection point.
The apple collections are an opportunity for tangible nature conservation. By participating, you're not only supporting the preservation of local orchards, but also helping to produce high-quality regional products such as Juradistl apple sparkling and Juradistl apple juice.
For transport, sacks, boxes, or other suitable containers are recommended. The collections are being organised in collaboration with the local fruit-growing club (Obstverein).
Payment for the apples will be made at a rate of 15 euros per 100 kilograms in cash at the collection point.
So, if you have a bounty of apples and want to contribute to a good cause, mark your calendars for September 13th and October 11th, 2025, and head to the county building yard in Oberpfraundorf. Your support will help to preserve local orchards and promote the production of genuine regional quality products.
