Regulation Implementation Acts to be Established, Detailing Application Procedures
In September and October this year, the Landscape Conservation Association Regensburg and the Fruit Growers' Association Oberpfraundorf will be organising apple collections in Oberpfraundorf (Market Beratzhausen). This initiative is part of the Juradistl program, aimed at supporting the preservation of local orchards and gardens.
During the collections, only unsprayed apples will be accepted. These apples should be fresh and free of rotten spots. To transport the apples, sacks, boxes, or other suitable containers are recommended. The drop-off point for the apple collections remains the same, at the storage hall of the county building yard in Oberpfraundorf.
Those delivering more than ten hundredweight per delivery should register in advance with the Landscape Conservation Association Regensburg at [email protected]. The collection point is the county building yard (storage hall directly at the motorway underpass opposite the commuter parking lot) in Oberpfraundorf.
Participating in the apple collections supports "tangible nature conservation" and contributes to the production of regional quality products like Juradistl apple spritzer and Juradistl apple juice. Delivered apples can be exchanged for vouchers for the Nagler press in Regensburg. Those who have a Nagler customer number should bring it with them and mention it at the collection point.
Upon delivery, each 100 kilograms of apples will be paid 15 euros in cash. The apple collections will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the Saturdays of September 13th and October 11th, 2025.
By participating in this event, you're not only helping to conserve local orchards and gardens but also contributing to the production of high-quality regional products. So, if you have unsprayed apples from your garden or orchard, consider joining the apple collections in Oberpfraundorf this September and October.
