Regulations specifically designed for ABB's Formula E World Championship racing events
The ABB Formula E World Championship is set to introduce new Driving Standards Guidelines as part of its Season 11 schedule, starting from the Berlin E-Prix double-header on 12-13 July. These guidelines are designed to ensure that driving conduct aligns with the unique demands and spirit of the championship.
The guidelines, which serve as a reference point for competitors regarding appropriate on-track conduct in various racing situations, have been formulated in consultation with the category's competitors. They will be used alongside driver and team statements, video, and technical evidence when administering penalties.

They provide clarity on various racing situations, such as moving under coasting, rejoining the track after cutting a chicane, blending following Attack Mode activation, and pitlane priority after Pit Boost Stops.
The FIA (FΓ©dΓ©ration Internationale de l'Automobile) developed the driver standards guidelines for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in close collaboration with drivers, officials, and industry experts. The guidelines were created through collaboration with these key stakeholders to ensure they accurately reflect the needs and challenges of the championship.
