Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Releases Admit Cards for Forest Beat Officer and Assistant Beat Officer Recruitment Examination

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the admit cards for the Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) recruitment examination, scheduled for September 7th, 2025. This recruitment drive, under Notification No. 06/2025, aims to fill a total of 691 vacancies, with 256 positions for Forest Beat Officers and 435 positions for Assistant Beat Officers.

Exam Details

The examination will be conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode using an OMR-based system. The test will be organized across 13 districts in Andhra Pradesh, although the specific cities are not listed publicly as per the admit card details.

Admit Card and Exam Guidelines

Candidates are advised to download and print multiple copies of their admit card for safety. To do so, they must visit the official website of APPSC (psc.ap.gov.in), click the link for "Hall Ticket / Admit Card Download", enter their OTPR ID/RDetails, Date of Birth, fill in the captcha code, and submit.

Upon receiving the admit card, candidates must carefully verify the details. Any mismatches should be reported immediately to APPSC. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License to the examination center.

Exam Centre and Reporting Time

Candidates must reach the examination center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the reporting time to complete security checks smoothly. It is crucial to note that only blue or black ballpoint pens are permitted for filling the OMR sheet, while pencils, markers, and whiteners are strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Items

Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, earphones, and other electronic devices are not allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates are advised to leave these items at home or in their vehicles.

Reservation of Seats

Some seats are reserved for meritorious sportspersons as per government rules.

Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must sit only in the seat assigned to them as per the hall ticket. Upon reaching the exam center, they will be required to undergo further security checks.
