In the tranquil waters of Eagle Mountain Lake in Tarrant County, North Texas, a sombre discovery was made on Sunday. Authorities confirmed that a body, believed to be that of 50-year-old Jimmy Chaikong, was found in the Southeast portion of the lake.

Jimmy Chaikong, a father of two young children under the age of 12, had gone missing on Saturday while out on the lake with his family. Witnesses reported seeing numerous boats, including police boats, conducting a search operation in the area.

The local criminal investigation department (Kriminalpolizei) is leading the investigations into Chaikong's disappearance. The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is also conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Jimmy Chaikong was known for his love for his children and the joy they brought him. According to his friend, Ryan Reynolds, Chaikong's greatest joy was being a father. He loved taking his children out on his sailboat, creating a million memories between sunup and sundown on the water. Everything Chaikong did, Ryan Reynolds said, revolved around his children.

Ryan Reynolds also described Chaikong as fiercely determined, consistent, and always positive. Besides being a loving father, Chaikong was a musician and former MMA fighter.

A tragic turn of events unfolded on Saturday afternoon when around 5 p.m., a boater rescued Chaikong's children who were in the water screaming for help. Keaton Williams, a witness, reported seeing the children in distress and the subsequent search efforts by the boats.

Friends of Jimmy Chaikong confirmed that the body found is his. The Tarrant Regional Water District is yet to release the official cause of death.
