Reports from the Ravensburg area, as per updates from the Ravensburg district

In the past week, several traffic accidents and incidents have occurred in Ravensburg and its surrounding areas, resulting in property damage and injuries.

On Wednesday afternoon, a traffic accident on the B 12 caused damage to the tune of around 55,000 euros. The incident happened when a 34-year-old Audi driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, was attempting to turn with his trailer at around 5:30 PM and struck a parked BMW. The BMW sustained approximately €2,000 in damage, while the trailer of the 34-year-old sustained around €500. The B 12 was closed for around five hours during the accident investigation and recovery operations.

In a separate incident, the 34-year-old was found not to be in possession of a Class BE driver's license, which he would have needed for his trailer. As a result, he now faces a charge of driving without a license. The trailer owner, who had lent it to the 34-year-old, will also be reported to the public prosecutor's office.

Another traffic accident occurred on the A 96, causing damage to the tune of around 15,000 euros. An 89-year-old Mercedes driver veered onto the opposite lane and collided with a 29-year-old lorry driver. A breathalyzer test showed a result of approximately 3.5 promille, and the woman now faces a charge of driving under the influence. A tour bus behind the 89-year-old was damaged by flying vehicle parts.

On Tuesday evening, a 34-year-old Audi driver caused approximately €2,500 in damage to a parked BMW in Ravensburg's Bleicherstraße parking lot. The woman's erratic driving was noticed by a witness, who alerted the police.

A collision between two bicycle riders, aged 38 and 48, occurred on Wednesday morning in Ravensburg's Wangener Straße. The 48-year-old was allegedly not paying attention and was riding too far to the left on the path, causing the 38-year-old to collide with her. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. The woman was taken to a clinic for a blood test and had her driver's license confiscated.

In a less serious incident, an 89-year-old Mercedes driver veered onto the opposite lane and collided with a 29-year-old lorry driver. No injuries were reported, but the Mercedes sustained total economic damage of around 10,000 euros, while the lorry driver's damage was around 40,000 euros.

Last Friday night, an incident involving raw eggs being thrown through an open window occurred in Weingarten's Pflugstraße. The incident caused damage to the interior and exterior walls, as well as furniture. No further details about the incident have been released.

A 55-year-old driver was caught driving under the influence in Ravensburg's city center on Wednesday evening. The driver's identity has not been disclosed, and he now faces a significant fine.

Finally, a 52-year-old driver of a small truck overtook a 59-year-old articulated lorry driver on the left lane while traveling on the right lane. The incident did not result in any injuries or significant damage.
