The Boeblingen Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Monday at 11:15 am in Furtwanger Street, Diezenhalde district. The alarm level was raised to a level 3 fire due to the size of the residential complex.
Upon arrival, firefighters immediately began fighting the fire, which was in a second-floor apartment of a multi-family building. Around 60 firefighters, 15 emergency service personnel, members of the DRK local association, and two police patrol car crews were on the scene.
No injuries were reported as the people directly affected were able to leave the building on their own. Firefighters checked adjacent and upper-floor apartments to ensure no fire had spread. No further injuries were reported during the follow-up extinguishing work.
Additional extinguishing work was carried out following the initial firefighting efforts. The affected apartment has been thoroughly ventilated after the fire. However, the currently uninhabitable status of the apartment was confirmed.
