Residential Fire in Bocholt Results in Injuries
On August 6, 2025, a residential fire broke out in Weberstraße, Bocholt. The incident was reported around 10:55 AM, prompting an immediate response from the Bocholt Fire Department and rescue services.
Upon arrival, all residents had safely evacuated the building. A team, equipped with breathing apparatus, entered the affected apartment to combat the fire. Additional personnel from the volunteer fire department ensured the basic protection of the city area during the operation.
In total, 19 personnel from the professional fire station, the volunteer fire department, and the rescue services were on site, operating six vehicles. The fire was eventually extinguished, and the affected rooms were ventilated to remove smoke.
Unfortunately, the resident of the affected apartment sustained severe injuries during the fire. She was treated on site by the rescue services and then transported to a hospital.
