Revamped Swimming Facility Unveiled at Rabet
The construction of the new sports pool at Rabet is moving forward as planned, with work on Otto-Runki-Platz having begun in January 2022. The latest updates reveal that the roofing work for the pool has been completed, and the focus has shifted to the facade.
Architect Tobias Keyl, who is responsible for the project, aims to complete the facade work as quickly as possible. His architectural firm, Gerkan, Marg and Partner (gmp), are committed to ensuring the project stays on schedule.
The swimming pool will feature a 25-meter lane, a teaching pool, and a children's wading pool. These facilities are designed to cater to swimmers of all ages and skill levels. The estimated cost of constructing the pool remains at 20 million euros, but no further information about the budget or funding has been disclosed.
