Ricky Gervais shares a photo of his latest home office setup, complete with his accolades, on Instagram
Ricky Gervais Moves into Luxurious £14.75 Million Hampstead Home
Ricky Gervais, the renowned comedian and actor, has recently moved into a new £14.75 million home in the prestigious area of Hampstead. The new residence, which the couple had been renovating before moving in, boasts a personal tennis court, cinema, bar, gym, sauna, wine cellar, and a summer house.
The couple, who previously lived in a £10.8 million London home since 2016, have upgraded to an eight-bedroom property in Hampstead. One of the most striking features of the new home is the mahogany and marble staircase basin, designed and built by Wingrove & Co. Ltd. of London.
Ricky Gervais' cat, Pickles, has already taken a liking to the grand staircase, using it as a climbing frame. The comedian shared a photo of Pickles on the staircase on his Instagram, commenting "Yeah, that's not dangerous at all Pickle."
The comedian's new home office, equipped with a unique table layout, has become a subject of interest among his fans. One fan commented that they like the warm look of the sunlight entering the office and asked where the furniture was from, implying it was from Ikea. Another fan questioned the table's design, with joints running at 90° to the other three. In response, Gervais simply said "Lazy."
A photo of Ricky Gervais' new home office was posted on October 17, 2024. The office, filled with his Emmys and Golden Globes, also seems to be a venue for Q&As with fans, as evidenced by some comments. One person even shared that they got four bruises on their shins looking at the table layout.
The couple moved into their new Hampstead home in 2024, leaving behind their old London home that was beautifully decorated by nature for Christmas in 2017. The old home was valued at £10.8 million.
As Gervais settles into his new abode, fans and followers can look forward to more updates and perhaps even more Q&As from the comedian's home office.
