Robbery Occurs at Europaplatz, Herne
A robbery occurred in Herne's Europaplatz (BahnhofstraΓe) on September 7th, at approximately 1:15 AM. The victim, a 40-year-old resident of Herne, was sitting on a bench with a group of people when the incident took place.
According to the Criminal Investigation Unit 35, the suspected perpetrator is a male, approximately 22 to 28 years old, standing at around 185 cm tall, with an athletic build and a southern European appearance. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie during the robbery.
The robbery involved a group of four to five individuals. One of the group members snatched the victim's bag and struck him on the head. As a result, the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment due to minor injuries.
