Schlep, who has managed to get multiple child predators on the platform arrested in real life, has chosen to work with law enforcement instead of reporting them to Roblox.
Schlep's ban has sparked open rebellion within the Roblox community. Many prominent Roblox YouTubers have quit the game in protest, with #FreeSchlep becoming a rallying cry across the Internet. The ban has also led to a decline in Roblox's stock prices, with a 7% fall since the controversy began.
Several online petitions demanding that CEO David Baszucki resign have also surfaced, one of which has gathered 210,000 signatures. Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill has announced that the state is suing Roblox for similar reasons, while others are following suit.

This has added fuel to the fire, with many questioning Roblox's actions and motives.
