Robot Vacuums Highlighting IFA 2025: Significant Advances in Automated Cleaning Technology

New Robot Vacuums Unveiled at IFA 2025 Address Real-Life Challenges

Several new robot vacuums were showcased at IFA 2025 in Berlin, each designed to tackle real-life issues such as sticky kitchen spills, mixed-floor routines, and constant maintenance. Among the notable models are the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro, DEEBOT X11 OMNICYCLONE, Dyson Spot+Scrub AI robot, xLean TR1, and Dreame's CyberX.

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro, with its thin profile of 7.98cm, stands out as a full-lidar unit due to its RetractSense Navigation System. This design ensures adaptive mobility, allowing the vacuum to maintain suction contact on plush carpets up to 3cm thick.

The DEEBOT X11 OMNICYCLONE, designed for bigger homes, aims to minimize dock interruptions and reduce consumables. Its PureCyclone 2.0 OMNI Station goes bagless with multi-stage separation, cutting down on the need for frequent replacements. The vacuum also features a BLAST Vacuum airflow system, designed to maintain stronger, quieter suction.

Dyson's first "Spot+Scrub" AI robot boasts vision-led wet and dry cleaning, AI-powered camera, smart navigation, and self-cleaning wet roller. It can recognize nearly 200 object types and re-clean stubborn spots. The xLean TR1, on the other hand, uses Dual-Motor DirectSuction tech to handle liquid and mixed messes in both modes. It also features an AI learning loop that records how you clean by hand and teaches the robot to replicate those strategies.

For busy family spaces and high-traffic kitchens, the xLean TR1 is best suited. It is a dual-form floor-washing robot that can convert to handheld mode instantly. Dreame's CyberX, the world's first bionic QuadTrack stair-climbing robot vacuum, is designed for multi-level homes without requiring babysitting.

In addition to these, the Ecovacs Deebot X11 OMNICYCLONE offers fast GaN charging, bagless auto-empty, a mechanical 4WD lift system, PureCyclone 2.0 OMNI Station, TruePass Adaptive 4WD Climbing System, and AGENT YIKO on-device AI for learning layout and habits over time. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro is equipped with an upgraded AdaptiLift chassis with omnidirectional wheels for adaptive mobility.

If you're looking to reduce your consumption of vacuum bags, the DEEBOT's bagless station might be a compelling differentiator for you. Each of these new robot vacuums offers unique features and benefits, making it easier than ever to keep your home clean and tidy.
