Romantic production ignites in a blaze: LPI-EF
On April 19, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Erfurt when a 37-year-old resident's over 50-year-old VW T2 camper went up in flames. The fire department was promptly called and managed to extinguish the blaze, but the collector's item camper was destroyed.
The fire is believed to have started due to a technical defect in the engine compartment. The State Police Inspectorate Erfurt, led by Frank HΓΌttemann, who has been in charge since November 2024, is currently investigating the matter.
