Ronald L. Hornberger, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was laid to rest on August 30th, 2025, at the Calvary Monument Bible Church in Paradise, Pennsylvania, USA.

Born in Lancaster, Ronald spent his formative years in the local community before graduating from Pequea Valley High School. After school, he honed his skills as a carpenter and also pursued some VoTech training.

The funeral service for Ronald began at 11 AM, with Pastor James Davis officiating the ceremony. The viewing time was from 10 AM until the time of service, providing friends and family an opportunity to pay their respects.

Ronald was married to Florence Merklinger Hornberger for nearly 45 years, and together they raised two daughters, Janice Marie Caskey and Denise Ann Finch. He was also a proud grandfather to Courtney Finch, his granddaughter.

In his free time, Ronald enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and spending quality time with his family. His love for nature and craftsmanship was evident in his hobbies, reflecting his down-to-earth and hardworking spirit.

Ronald passed away on August 25th, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. He is survived by his siblings, Barbara Ann Rodman-Myers, John Allen Hornberger, and Joan F. Gappa, as well as his extended family and friends who mourn his loss.

The interment for Ronald will take place in the adjoining church cemetery, marking the end of a life well-lived and a time for reflection on the memories shared with a truly remarkable man.
