Rural Regions Graced by Hauk's Visit
Minister Peter Hauk's August Tour of Agricultural and Forestry Projects
In the month of August 2025, Minister Peter Hauk embarked on a tour of various agricultural and forestry projects across Germany. Here's a recap of his visits:
On August 12, Minister Hauk inspected the Testfeld für Agri-Photovoltaik-Modellanlagen in Merdingen. The following day, he visited the Forschungsstelle in Langenargen, Bodenseekreis.
On August 13, Minister Hauk visited the Destillerie Steinhauser in Kressbronn and the Forschungsstelle in Langenargen. He also informed himself at the Geßlerhof in Ebenweiler, Landkreis Ravensburg.
Minister Hauk's visit to Uhldingen-Mühlhofen on August 20 was marked by a trip to the Holzneubau des Pfahlbaumuseums. The same day, he also visited the Stadtwald Villingen-Schwenningen.
On August 14, Minister Hauk inspected the "Managementkonzeption Gänse" pilot project in Esslingen and the Kompetenzzentrum des Landesverbands für Obstbau, Garten- und Landschaft in Weil der Stadt, Landkreis Böblingen. He also visited the LEKI company in Kirchheim Teck, Landkreis Esslingen.
The Minister's tour continued on August 19, with a visit to the Studenten- und Azubiwohnheim Collegium Academicum to inspect the wooden new construction. That day, he also learned about the current situation regarding African Swine Fever and about the trainee program of AgrarKontakte International e.V.
On August 21, Minister Hauk learned about climate-resilient forests in Neuenstein, Hohenlohekreis. He also visited a trial field for climate change adaptation in the Streuobstbau in the Spiegelberg community, Rems-Murr-Kreis.
Minister Hauk's final visit was on August 20, where he met the Mack family and the buyer of their straw pigs, Metzgerei Linder, in Denzlingen, Landkreis Emmendingen.
