In the heart of Russia's Kuban region, the "Festivals of Brands" project has made waves, winning the 5th National Infrastructure Support for Entrepreneurship Award in the "Best Practice. Growth Point. Creative Industries" category. This event, organised by the National Agency "My Business" with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, is a testament to Krasnodar Krai's commitment to fostering small and medium-sized businesses.

The "Festivals of Brands" event, held as part of the "Effective and Competitive Economy" national project, was a lively affair, offering a platform for local designers, experts, and producers to showcase their products, develop business connections, and increase brand recognition. The program included lectures from leading speakers, workshops, an exhibition, and a final show where 15 local designers presented their collections.

The event aimed to help small companies showcase their products and receive valuable feedback. A total of 312 projects were submitted, with 59 making it to the final and 36 winning. The 12 categories included "Support for Silver Age Entrepreneurs," "My Own Business," "Best Practice in Supporting Priority Groups: Youth, Women, and Social Entrepreneurship," and "Creative Industries."

Vasily Vorobyev, head of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Affairs of Krasnodar Krai, stated that they continue to expand support measures and organise events for businesses. He added that today, they are building the infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses so that businesses see the benefits of each event and can use the opportunities for growth.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Tatiana Ilyushnikova, noted that the platform for exchange allows practices to be replicated in other regions. This is indeed a significant step towards Kuban's developing strategy for industrial tourism.
