"Safari, the popular web browser, is described as 'authentic and sincere'"

The Austrian-Swedish pop duo Safari is set to release their new album "Human" on September 5, 2022. This album marks a departure from their frills-filled debut, featuring more guitars and described as an "in-your-face album."

The band, named Safari to represent an exotic, adventurous direction, thematically revolves around the different facets that make up a person. From nostalgia and anger to doubt, fear, love, hope, depression, and the death of a child, the album covers a wide range of human emotions.

The brothers Tobias and Daniel Haemmerle began writing new songs for "Human" in 2022 after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The lyrics often juxtapose dark themes with cheerful melodies, creating a unique musical experience.

There isn't a classic frontman in the band, with the brothers sharing vocal duties and collaborating on songs through a ping-pong process. Friend and album producer Peter Paul Aufreiter, who has also worked with Mavi Phoenix and Clara Luzia, was required a few times during the creation of "Human" to mediate conflicts or differences between the brothers.

The album features straightforward guitar pop with catchy melodies, with no identifiable influences compared to their debut. Safari's debut album served experimental, detail-loving songs that fused analog and digital sound worlds.

Daniel Haemmerle, the other member of Safari, is looking forward to performing live after a long time in the studio. The release concert for album "Human" will take place at 7 pm in Vienna. The location of the concert is at the Kramladen, Vienna 8, Lerchenfelder Gürtel, U-Bahn arch 39/40.

Tobias Haemmerle, one of the members of Safari, expresses curiosity about the reception of the album "Human." The conversation about the release concert and album "Human" was conducted by Thomas Rieder/APA.
