Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are set to compete at Europe's largest tech and home appliance trade show, IFA 2025, with each company presenting an AI-centric vision for the future of daily life.

Samsung Electronics will open a 6,235-square-meter booth under the theme "AI Home: Future Living, Now." The booth will feature the Micro RGB TV and new Bespoke AI appliances as centerpieces. In the AI Home Living Zone, visitors can expect demonstrations of Samsung's Vision AI technology, Bespoke AI, and Galaxy AI platforms, including the Vision AI Companion and Live Translate. All exhibited appliances will be linked through the SmartThings platform, offering a seamless, voice-connected home experience.

Meanwhile, LG Electronics will showcase its own home ecosystem at IFA 2025 under the theme "LG AI Appliances Orchestra." The company's exhibition hall will span 3,745 square meters, with a 20-meter media wall serving as the stage for an "orchestra" of 21 AI appliances. The star of LG's show will be ThinQ On, an advanced AI home hub that enables remote oven preheating, home camera monitoring, and robot vacuum activation from a car. LG's AI Home Solutions Zone will demonstrate real-life scenarios where ThinQ AI coordinates appliances and IoT devices, while the Schpiraum, an AI mobility space, will link vehicles to household appliances. Services like ThinQ UP and ThinQ Care will also be showcased.

LG's president of the Home Appliance Solution Company, Lyu Jae-cheol, stated that IFA 2025 will be a turning point for Europe's home appliance market. He expressed excitement about the potential for LG's innovative AI solutions to revolutionise everyday life.

In a separate announcement, Samsung Electronics revealed that it will unveil the Galaxy S25 Fan Edition (FE), a mid-premium smartphone with AI functions, during a livestream on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Berlin.

IFA 2025 is expected to present a sustainable vision of future daily life, with both Samsung and LG focusing on eco-friendly and energy-efficient solutions in their exhibitions. The event, which features over 1,900 exhibitors, is set to take place in Berlin from 1st to 6th September 2025.
