Schedule of Formula 1 Grand Prix Races in 2025: Dates and Time Tables

The Formula 1 season is set to kick off in March 2025, with the Australian Grand Prix taking place in Melbourne on the 16th. The season will see a total of 22 races, with a new addition in Miami on May 4th, and a return to Sakhir, Bahrain on April 13th.

The season will also see races in Shanghai, China; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Barcelona, Spain; Imola, Emilia Romagna; Silverstone, Britain; Budapest, Hungary; Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium; Zandvoort, Netherlands; Spielberg, Austria; Montreal, Canada; Baku, Azerbaijan; Le Castellet, France (for the French Grand Prix); and Austin, Texas, USA.

The season will conclude in December with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in Yas Marina. The Dutch Grand Prix will take place in Zandvoort on August 31st, and the Las Vegas Grand Prix will be held on November 22nd. The Singapore Grand Prix will take place on October 5th, and the United States Grand Prix will take place on October 19th.

The Mexican Grand Prix will take place on October 26th, and the Brazilian Grand Prix will take place on November 9th. The Qatar Grand Prix will take place on November 30th in Lusail.

Unfortunately, fans of the German Grand Prix will have to wait another year as the 2025 season will not include a race in Germany. The last time Germany hosted a Formula 1 race was in 2020 at the Nurburgring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

There have been discussions about the return of Formula 1 to Germany, with Ralf Schumacher expressing his belief that a German Grand Prix could happen, even with Audi. However, no official information about expiring contracts between Formula 1 and German racetracks or any announcements about a possible return have been made for 2025.

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has initiated discussions on a rotation model for European circuits to be implemented from 2026. The rotation model aims to help track operators avoid high entry fees every year, which was one of the reasons Germany did not host races for a long time. However, the operator of the Spa-Francorchamps track has already agreed not to host races in 2028 and 2030 in a new contract.

Jorn Teske, CEO of Hockenheimring, has expressed interest in the rotation model, but profitability is the top priority. Nurburgring spokesperson Alexander Gerhard stated that the rotation model does not necessarily improve the economic viability of such events.

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place on April 20th in Jeddah, and the Japanese Grand Prix will take place on April 6th in Suzuka.

The 2025 Formula 1 season calendar has been confirmed, and fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the start of the new season. With the addition of the Miami Grand Prix and the return to Sakhir, the 2025 season promises to be an exciting one.
