School Traffic Regulations Enforced During Commencement; School Front Damaged: Cost of Repairs Estimated at €500; Cyclist Involved in Accident, Escapes Scene and Additional Incidents

In the past week, several incidents have taken place across Southeast Hesse, involving traffic accidents, burglaries, and police appeals for witnesses.

In Schoeneck, a traffic accident occurred on Tuesday around 14:55, involving a Mini driver who failed to notice a motorcycle, resulting in a collision. Both parties sustained slight injuries, and the accident caused approximately €2,800 in damages.

In Langenselbold, a cyclist was involved in a traffic accident, possibly due to a combination of a steep road and intoxicating substances. The cyclist fled the scene, and the extent of their injuries is unknown. The same town also witnessed a hit-and-run incident, where a cyclist collided with a parked car and fled.

In a separate incident, a drunk cyclist damaged two parked vehicles in Burggasse, Nidderau/Heldenbergen, causing approximately €3,500 in damages.

The city of Offenbach belongs to the Police Headquarters Southeast Hesse. In Offenbach, a gray Audi A5 was damaged in Bad Orb.

Meanwhile, in Hasselroth/Gondsroth, a thief took the opportunity to enter a home through an open bedroom window for ventilation, stealing unspecified items.

In Goldbergstraße, Hammersbach/Langen-Bergheim, two e-bikes and one bicycle were stolen from a garden shed, with a total value of approximately €15,000.

Witnesses who observed a collision in Langenselbold are asked to contact the officers at 06183 91155-0. The police in Langenselbold are also accepting witness statements regarding a burglary in Goldbergstraße, Hammersbach/Langen-Bergheim.

Police in Schlüchtern conducted controls for school reopening, and the city of Schlüchtern also experienced an incident where a school wall was defaced.

In Hanau, an elderly woman's jewelry was stolen. Witnesses or anyone with information regarding these incidents are encouraged to contact the police.
