In the quiet town of Hürth, Germany, a hit-and-run incident took place on Sunday evening, 15th June, at approximately 6 pm. According to the Rhein-Erft-Kreis Police, a 25-year-old man with a long blonde beard is being sought in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Krankenhausstraße and Kochstraße, where a 44-year-old pedestrian was crossing. The E-Scooter rider, who was riding a black E-Scooter and carrying a black backpack, collided with the pedestrian as he was coming from Bachstraße and heading towards "In den Höhnen".

The E-Scooter rider had a brief conversation with the pedestrian without exchanging personal details before fleeing the scene. The pedestrian, who was wearing beige pants and a beige hoodie at the time, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The police have secured evidence and filed an accident report at the scene. They are urging the fleeing E-Scooter rider to contact them and are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
