Searching pensioner gone missing on Föhr island, police urgently seek public's assistance
Missing Person: Horst S. Last Seen on Wyk auf Föhr
In a concerning development, the Flensburg Police Directorate has launched a search for 82-year-old Horst S., who has been missing since Sunday afternoon, August 31, 2025.
Horst S., a vacationer, was last seen wearing a beige-green summer jacket and jeans. He is approximately 170cm tall and has white hair and a white beard. A photo of the jacket he was wearing is available for reference.
The Flensburg Police Directorate is appealing for any information on the whereabouts of Mr. S. According to their latest update, he may have taken a ferry and train to travel towards his hometown in Celle, Lower Saxony.
