Severe Road Crash Leaves Child Gravely Wounded

In Hamm, a tragic incident occurred on Monday, September 1, at "An der Marienkirche". A six-year-old child was seriously injured in a traffic accident.

According to the latest updates from Police Headquarters Hamm, the accident took place when a driver, a 40-year-old resident of Hamm, was traveling northbound on the street. The driver turned right into a driveway, resulting in a collision with a child who was approaching on a roller skate.

The child was immediately taken to the children's clinic for treatment following the accident. The vehicle involved, a VW, sustained approximately 2,000 euros in damage.

In an unfortunate turn of events, despite the driver stopping his vehicle after seeing the child, the child could not avoid the collision.
