Severe Road Mishap Causes Significant Injuries - POL-CE Report
On Friday, August 15, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on Jägerstraße in Celle, resulting in approximately €18,000 worth of damage.
According to the Police Inspectorate Celle, a 27-year-old man was driving a Daimler Chrysler in the direction of Hannoversche Straße when he overtook another vehicle and lost control of his car in a left curve. As a result, the vehicle collided with a parked car without braking.
The parked car was pushed over a metal bollard and into a tree by the impact, causing significant damage to both vehicles. Both vehicles were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away.
The accident resulted in the injury of two individuals, who were seriously hurt. Jägerstraße was closed for the duration of the accident investigation and subsequent clearance work.
