E-commerce platform Shopee has announced the launch of a new accelerator program, the Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program (SAP). This six-month growth initiative is designed to help high-potential Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) scale their online businesses.

The program, which begins in the fourth quarter of 2025, is by invitation only and will include 20 local sellers who have demonstrated readiness to scale their operations. Participants will receive a customised growth plan tailored to their specific business goals.

The SAP offers a structured approach to growth, providing personalised mentorship, access to Shopee experts, and targeted support. Key learning areas in the program include shop and content optimisation, marketing and campaign planning, fulfilment, and customer experience.

Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines, stated that the launch of the SAP is part of Shopee's commitment to helping promising Filipino sellers grow, scale smarter, or build a lasting presence online. He added that the program offers hands-on support for MSMEs at every stage, from first-time sellers to established businesses ready to scale.

The Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program is an expansion of Shopee's existing Shopee Tatak Pinoy program. It includes an intensive bootcamp and offers customised support and milestone-based incentives to participants.

Lee further commented that the program is about championing local businesses. "We believe in the potential of Filipino sellers and are committed to providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed," he said.

The specific companies joining the Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program in Q4 2025 have not been publicly disclosed. Martin Yu, the head of Shopee Philippines, commented on this initiative, stating that the program is an important step in Shopee's mission to support local sellers and help them grow their businesses.

The Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program is being launched as part of Shopee's 10th anniversary in the Philippines. It is Shopee's way of giving back to the community and supporting the growth of local businesses.

In conclusion, the Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program is an exciting opportunity for Filipino sellers to take their businesses to the next level. With personalised mentorship, access to Shopee experts, and targeted support, participants will receive the tools they need to succeed in the competitive e-commerce landscape.
