Political events are also on the horizon. Mayoral elections are scheduled in Ludwigshafen, Koblenz, and Leonberg in September. The elections in Ludwigshafen and Koblenz are set for September 21, with the AfD candidate Joachim Paul having been excluded from the election in Ludwigshafen, a decision confirmed by the Higher Administrative Court.
